I've always been fascinated with food magazines because of how they introduce us to new cultures through recipes. Whether it's your grandmother or a well-known chef, anyone can create an experience that will stay with you forever.
As a personal project, I decided to combine my love for editorial design with food by creating my own magazine: Treat Magazine.​​​​​​​
In the first issue, I decided to feature Asian-American food as it has been a large part of my life. Being half Thai, I've always considered Asian food a comfort which later extended to other cultural cuisines. Growing up near DC, Chinese food was a staple. As I grew older, I came to love Vietnamese and Korean food as well. 
Articles are found online and given proper credit to the author and publication. Images are sourced from royalty-free stock sites.
